Shoebox Christmas Exceeds Goal at Faith
It was Mission’s Committee hope that we would meet the goal we set of 100 shoeboxes this year. We not only met the goal but we exceeded it with your generosity. The congregation of Faith has a benevolent heart when called to God’s mission. You have provided 118 shoeboxes for the 2007 Missions Project.
In each shoebox, is a Christmas treasure for the children of Spirit Lake Reservation, a card that tells the Christmas Story from the Gospel of Luke and a gift tag noting the gift is from a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Williston.
The shoeboxes will be hand delivered door to door by Mike and Libby Flowers, Missionaries for the Dakotas, and lay people providing outreach ministries on the reservation, during Christmas week.
Thank you again for your generosity and may God continue to bless this outreach.
