"Sunday School -- It's for Life."

It’s time for Vacation Bible School…  July 26-30  from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  It’s time to “Blast Off” to a Cosmic Adventure  praising God!  Our VBS Cadets will join Galileo the Gorilla on the starship Galactic Praise for a glimpse of outer space as well as bible stories here on earth.

            Galactic Blast is for all children ages two through sixth  grade.  (This is the grade you have just finished this year.)  We are asking a $5.00 fee for registration to help with VBS costs, and each child will need a plain white T-shirt.

            On Sunday, August 1^st. , the children will present a VBS program during Worship Service, followed by a potluck barbecue lunch here at the church.  While we have our potluck, you can bid on our “Annual Theme Basket” silent auction.  We are asking each VBS family to donate one theme based basket for our auction, and we would love any other basket donations from the congregation that we could receive.  These baskets can be geared to any age and any theme you like.  They’re fun to put together and they’re very fun to bid on!

            We are still looking for more volunteers to help at VBS.  Please call me and tell me where you would like to help out at.  We need you!

            It’s not to late to sign up for camp.  We can still get you registered and you can even bring friends!  Below is a list of the camps we are sponsoring this year, but you can attend any of the camps listed in the camp booklet.  We need your registration and 50% of camp cost when you sign up.  We will pay the other 50%.  Please check your calendars and call me soon!

            Thank you again to all of our teachers and volunteers that we had this past year in Sunday School, we couldn’t have done it without you!

            Have a wonderful summer, see you at camp and VBS, and I look forward to seeing all of our Sunday School students… young, and old, back in the fall.
