The UMW have cards to sell that may fill your needs.  Most boxes have 12 cards and envelopes. ($5.00 each box)

During the summer months there will be baskets at the front and back of the sanctuary for your “Penny Offering.”  This change will be used toward the Camping Program’s travel expenses.

Blanket sheets
5 yards cotton 

Sweatshirt fleece

Velour blankets
Mattress pads
Queen or king size flat sheets

Hardanger Cotton Perle #5 Thread (any color)

 

If you'd like to donate to the quilting group but are not quite sure what to give, the group would be happy to accept Wal-mart gift cards that they can use to purchase some of the above items.

 

Wanted: your empty printer ink cartridges to raise money for the music/worship fundraiser.

Volunteer Opportunities

Grief support is men and women within Faith United Methodist Church involved in prayerfully showing compassion, encouragement and support to those grieving the loss of a loved one. 

In II Corinthians 1:3-4, God calls us to comfort those in trouble with the comfort we have received from God. .

If you are interested in being actively involved in helping and encouraging those within the congregation who have suffered a loss, please give Pastor Rod a call at 572-7694.

 

Volunteers are needed to deliver tapes of Sunday Service to those confined due to illness, age or inability to travel.

Volunteers are needed to do monthly kitchen cleaning.

Volunteers are always needed to help assemble the monthly newsletter near the end of each month.  (See Calendar)
